American: The Bill Hicks Story is a documentary film painstakingly and lovingly produced by Matt Harlock and Paul Thomas, combining archival recordings and photographs of Bill Hicks with innovative image animation techniques. The rest of the story is told by the friends and family that knew Bill best. The film is currently playing in several UK/Eire cinemas and appearing in film festivals world wide. A US run is being worked on. Amazon UK lists a DVD release there in late September but that could change (the DVD contents are still being selected/edited). We'll announce the official date when we're sure what it is.
All known screenings should be listed on at least one of the links provided in the first post of this thread.

It's coming to Australia - it will be here in Perth on the 18th and the 21st of July at the Astor theatre in Mt Lawley . Already got my ticket

I hope it comes to the other side of the pond soon. It is ironic that Bill's scathing insight work on English audiences but less in Amerca.

The DVD will be released in UK on September 27. Latest word is it will screen sometime in September in New York and Hell-A. Venues and dates will be posted on BillHicks.com homepage when official.
